Anne Malatesta Photography is about abstract nature photographs of fire, flowers, and central Florida landscapes that were shot on Florida’s Lake Wales Ridge - sometimes called “Florida’s Desert”. Many of the fire or smoke pictures (taken during prescribed burns) have a filter applied for a “painterly” effect; the other photographs were shot with available natural light. The photographs take nature out of reality and into the world of form, shape, and mysterious color.

All images are for sale framed or unframed. Photographs are printed on archival paper, and matted with museum-quality mats.
