Anne lives on the Lake Wales Ridge in Central Florida. She works by day as an ecologist and specializes in the endangered plants and animals found in the area where she lives. She has been an artist, a photographer, and a musician for many years. “It wasn’t until I moved to the desert-like part of Florida that I really found my style,” she says. “This area really got under my skin, and I started photographing things that ended up looking like something else entirely.” Her art-photography captures abstractions and absurdities of nature. Anne's photos have been in the December 2004/January 2005 issue of Natural History magazine and have been exhibited at Bok Tower Sanctuary and Archbold Biological Research Station. Anne’s work is currently exhibited at Urban Way. Urban Way's showroom in Bradenton, Florida features retro, modern and contemporary furnishings and accessories.
